Spring Adventures

Happy First day of June! I can’t believe it’s already the sixth month of 2019. This year has flown by so far!

2019 has been full of new opportunities for my business, deeper friendships being formed, much activity and creativity. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.

Since I spent the month of May focused on my Lettering Challenge instead of posting what I was up to most of the time, I figured I’d drop some of my favorite moments of our Spring adventures here. There is so much beauty here in Vermont in this season that really spans from Winter to Summer, from snow flurries to 80º days.

I’ve been a “mountain biker” for the past 3 or 4 years now, but finally this year feel like I’m really, thoroughly enjoying the sport. I also have been lucky enough to be surrounded by an incredible group of lady shredders that strengthen me and motivate me. We have been enjoying many rides at Pine Hill Park, Sherburne Trails and Slate Valley Trails, and I look forward to exploring more trail systems once everything dries out!

Recently I expanded my clothing line to include t-shirts and tanks tops featuring my Bike Vermont design! A few photos are included below. Visit my Etsy shop for more information and to purchase these rad new wearables!

My husband, Reed, and I have also been getting outside for some hikes. We recently discovered Taconic Mountains Ramble State Park in Hubbardton, which is stunning. It’s full of steep, challenging hiking trails, a sublime Japanese garden, and jaw-dropping mountain views. I can’t wait to return!

Finally, along with my friends Molly of Basin Reclaimed and Carrie Pill, participated in Open Studio Weekend! This was such a wonderful opportunity to spend time in the creative energy of some of the best people (and artists!) I know and showcase all of our artwork in one magnificent space – Carrie’s home studio!

I’m excited for the temperatures to rise, for the trails to dry out, for the bugs to get a little less enthusiastic, and to kick butt the rest of this summer. Hope you enjoy an adventuresome June!
