I came upon a phenomenally intriguing trail name when my husband and I were hiking up Mount Mansfield in July 202, and an idea took root in my brain. If you are unfamiliar, Inktober is a worldwide drawing challenge with a focus on expanding creativity and connecting with other artists. I was thrilled to participate this past October, and shared a drawing a day for the entire month, with a unique theme and self-created prompt. My series was Mythological Critters of North America!

I was thrilled to research and doodle some legendary beasties from this country. After I finish some from New England, I plan on expanding to the rest of the United States. Check out each one’s story on my instagram! I also created color stickers for each which are available in my Etsy shop. Enjoy!
