Hand Lettering is a combination of art, design, and typography. It’s is a specific combination of letterforms crafted for a single use and purpose, and it’s a lost art form in this day and age. Colleen has always loved words and found this type of art to be the perfect fusion of her passions.

Along with traditional hand-lettered designs, Wander On Words also specializes in shape designs. These are always fun to create and resemble putting a puzzle together, trying to make all the words fit while having the shape read clearly. Some shapes are easier than others! I also have a series of State & Country shapes. Our goal is to design all 50 states & all 195 countries! As of now, we have over 38 completed, including all of New England.

We also love creating Custom Designs! These include commissioned works, logos, favorite quotes, heartfelt gifts, & monogramed pieces, from the simple to the complex.
